RSCN @ RHFH

The RSCN promotes and facilitates the implementation and scale-up of innovation and digital solutions supporting a life-course approach to active and healthy ageing.

Below is the RSCN contribution to the Radical Health Festival Helsinki.

Healthy, Active and Productive Ageing

Session 1 – Tuesday 13 June – 11:00-12:30

Insights from Large Scale Implementations across Europe

Health and well-being derive from the interaction between individual, community and environment. The twin digital and environmental transitions require an effort to overcome the boundaries between disciplines, organisations and sectors to improve our understanding of the mechanisms that underpin successful ageing and healthy life course trajectories.

This session highlights innovative approaches identified by the RSCN reference regions, that could be deployed at scale in several fields:

  • Risk factors (clinical, personal well being, environmental/other) to tackle at individual, community and environmental level to improve health outcomes
  • Organisational readiness to implement integrated care sustainably
  • Complex care and cure services in the community and at home
  • Health promotion policies across sectors external to social, health and care
  • Engaging non-professional stakeholders (citizens, patients, students) into an active participation in the delivery of new service models

Participants will share their knowledge and good practices to foster collaborations and promote their adaptation and transfer.
