The Investment Forum (Rooms 204 & 205)

 

Gathering the most active investors in digital health around Europe and beyond, EC2VC starts with an Investment Forum and panel discussions focusing on questions we usually prefer to discuss behind closed doors: how the current financial situation is impacting digital health investments and creating tensions between startups and their investors, what to do with ¨ghost¨ board members, what can be done with failed start-ups’ IPs, how to prevent down rounds, or how to negotiate the solutions´ integration with existing EHRs.

8 innovative startups, currently looking for investment, have now been carefully selected to participate in the EC2VC Pitch Competition on June 12. The finalists will present their solution in a 5-minute pitch and discuss it in front of a panel of the most influential digital health investors in Europe.

👉 Popit Ltd – A smart pill tracking solution for medication management (Finland)

👉 Simli – A VR-based exposure training to help people overcome social anxiety (Norway)

👉 Thryve – A wearable API to access 500+ devices and data sources (Germany)

👉 VEIL.AI – A suite of solutions enabling better use of health data for research, development and innovation (Finland)

They will judge you based on the following criteria: 

• Proposal’s disruption (How innovative is the solution?)
• Market opportunity (How big is the market?)
• Competition (What is the competitors´ landscape and what´s your competitive advantage?)
• Team (Do you have the right team in place for your ambitions)
• Investment needs (Do your ask and investment plan make sense?)
