While Artificial Intelligence continues to make headlines about the future of health and care, it remains a ¨black box¨ for many health professionals who lack a clear understanding of how it works and the practical implications of its implementation in the clinical setting. This session, crafted by clinicians for clinicians, opens this black box to demystify AI and equip physicians and healthcare teams with the essential knowledge they need to navigate and embrace AI’s advancements with confidence. Highlighting the opportunities as well as the challenges of integrating AI tools in the clinical setting, leveraging practical examples and case studies in key therapeutic areas such as diabetes, radiology, and mental health, featuring demos of AI-powered solutions, and preparing health professionals to navigate a transformative journey, this session is a must attend for any physician aspiring to be at the forefront of the AI revolution in medicine.

Speakers and panellists in this session include:

  • Miikka Korja, Chief Innovation Officer, Consultant Neurosurgeon and Head of Section at the Department of Neurosurgery, HUS, Finland
  • Sami Heistaro, Head of Education, Finnish Medical association, Finland
  • Lauri Vuorenkoski, Health Policy Expert, Finnish Medical association, Finland
